**IKC "SATURDAY NIGHT SOCIAL" - 30th JANUARY**Well, it is finally here IKC members, "Saturday Night Social" will be happening at Ipswich Kart Club on the evening of the 30th of January. This will be a great opportunity for all our newer members, especially the Cadets and Juniors, to get some dedicated track practice time, with club volunteers and industry partners there to offer guidance and lots of good information on the early start of the journey into karting.Our first Saturday Night Social for the year will provide all our D and E Grade License holders (Senior, Junior & Cadet) a great opportunity to practice under lights, get some driving tuition, the mums and dads will get some guidance on kart setup, maintenance, etc, and for those who then feel comfortable enough to maybe race the 1st club round 1 week later on February 6th, we will also conduct their OLS (Observed License Session) and sign them off to be ready to race.We will be using the IKC App to take the bookings for Saturday Night Social and the fee will only be $25.00, same as if you did a normal practice day. The IKC App will be setup to take bookings soon.Saturday Night Social will commence at 4.30pm and go through to 8.30pm. You don’t have to stay the whole night, just do as much as you want to, then head home. With limited numbers compared to a normal practice day, we anticipate you will get plenty of on track sessions.During the evening we will be stopping for about half an hour at 6.30pm for a Q & A session and a Social BBQ, provided by IKC. Entries are now open on CMS for our first IKC Club Championship round on Saturday February 6th 2021.Please note - the Control Fuel is now from the Liberty Service Station at Yamanto (top of the hill) details on the Supp Regs below.KA3 Senior will be running at Championship Weight, maybe some Open Performance entries and an appearance from the KZ2 and KA2 gang, just to add to the fun.Due to the postponement of AKC now, we are planning to run the day a little longer and have some of the finals "under lights" Get your entries in early to avoid disappointment.
